Plastic on land

Found this spray can at the beach here in Maldives. It shows very well the problem of plastic. The metal part rusted away, almost dissolved back into minerals but the plastic part isn’t. It’s still perfectly fine, and its going to stay like that for many more years, floating around in the ocean. Eventually breaking down into small particles eaten by creatures. Never really dissolving… However in a way that is also the unique property about plastic, it lasts suuuper long. To bad its most of the time used to create cheap disposable things with a short lifespan.
